Configure the two destination presets
OrderRoutes currently gives buyers exactly two merchant-configured destination presets in the storefront assignment block. Replace both sample labels and addresses with the two destinations you want buyers to choose.
Merchant steps
- Open the OrderRoutes theme block settings.
- Update the label and address for the first destination preset.
- Update the label and address for the second destination preset.
- Preview the cart and confirm both destination labels are clear to a buyer.
The documented storefront flow does not let a buyer type a free-form address or add another destination. Do not describe the preset labels as native Shopify checkout addresses.
What buyers see
For each cart item, the buyer chooses one of the two preset labels. OrderRoutes keeps that item-level choice as delivery context while Shopify continues to use one native checkout address.
If a preset is wrong or missing
Correct the theme-block setting before asking the buyer to continue. If the cart cannot save an assignment, the buyer stays on the cart and can retry after the preset is corrected.
If the storefront does not show both presets as described, stop and contact support before asking the buyer to continue.
