Check Whether Your Store Is Ready

The store readiness area helps confirm whether BackstockOps can read the Shopify data it needs for inventory and purchasing workflows.

Use this section after installing the app and before relying on replenishment or purchase order workflows.

Before You Start

  • Install BackstockOps in your Shopify store.
  • Make sure your Shopify products and variants are active.
  • Make sure your store has the locations you expect to use for inventory.

Steps

  1. Open BackstockOps from Shopify Admin.
  2. Go to the store readiness area.
  3. Review each readiness item shown on the page.
  4. Confirm that products and variants are available.
  5. Confirm that locations are available.
  6. Confirm that inventory data can be read.
  7. Confirm that required app access is active.
  8. Resolve any setup warnings before continuing.

What Happens Next

When the store is ready, you can begin adding suppliers, mapping supplier SKUs, and preparing replenishment workflows.

If the readiness area shows a warning, resolve that warning before treating the app as fully configured.
