Map Supplier SKUs to Shopify Variants Workflow

Use this workflow when a supplier's SKU needs to be connected to a Shopify variant.

Before You Start

• Create the supplier in BackstockOps.
• Confirm the Shopify product and variant exist.
• Gather the supplier SKU and any supplier cost or ordering details.

Steps

1. Open the supplier.
2. Find the mapping area.
3. Search for the Shopify product or variant.
4. Add the supplier SKU.
5. Add cost, currency, pack size, minimum order quantity, case quantity, and lead time when available.
6. Mark the supplier as preferred if this is the main supplier for that variant.
7. Save the mapping.
8. Confirm the mapping appears on the supplier record.
9. Open replenishment or purchase order workflows to confirm the supplier context appears where expected.

What Happens Next

The supplier SKU and purchasing details can now appear in replenishment and purchase order workflows.
