Export or print a transfer worksheet
Export or print a transfer worksheet when warehouse staff need a picking sheet, receiving sheet, or spreadsheet copy of a transfer plan.
Plan Requirement
Ops plan or higher.
Role Or Permission Requirement
Use a BackstockOps role with export access when workflow roles are enforced.
App Path
Shopify Admin > Apps > BackstockOps > Transfer planning > open a plan.
Direct app path: /app/transfers/{transferPlanId}.
Steps
- Open Transfer planning.
- Select
Openon the plan. - Review the source, destination, suggested units, picked units, received units, reason, and exception status.
- Select the CSV export action to download the worksheet.
- Select the print action or open
/app/transfers/{transferPlanId}/printto print the worksheet. - Give the worksheet to staff for picking and receiving.
- If staff update quantities in a CSV, import or paste the update where the plan detail page provides that option.
Shopify Read And Write Behavior
Exports and printouts do not write to Shopify. They represent BackstockOps transfer worksheet data. Shopify inventory moves only through native Shopify transfer or inventory workflows.
Expected Success State
The CSV or printed worksheet includes the plan, source and destination locations, line identifiers, SKUs, suggested quantities, picked quantities, received quantities, reasons, and exceptions.
Common Troubleshooting
- The worksheet has no lines: confirm the plan generated recommendations.
- A spreadsheet update does not match a line: BackstockOps matches by line ID first, then SKU.
- The native Shopify transfer link is missing: save the native transfer ID or URL after creating the Shopify transfer.
